After the floor of your garden becomes flat, you need to clean it in the best way. It should be cleaned so that there is not a single grain of dust. Another issue to be considered here is which area you will apply it to. There are different application methods for each area.

Artificial turf has different methods for the poolside, different methods for the terrace, different methods for the balcony; the difference in application will be the flattening of the base and the adhesive used. Artificial Grass Laying Steps

The artificial grass you buy will come directly to you with the ground material.

The area where you will lay the artificial turf must be perfectly clean. Once you are sure that the surface is completely clean, wipe it with a wet or damp cloth. In this way, you will get a floor that is completely free of dust.

You should carefully and evenly apply the adhesive that comes with the artificial turf to the area where you will lay it. Applying the adhesive flawlessly ensures that the grass you will lay adheres to the ground in the best way possible. However, since the adhesive is quite strong, care should be taken during application.

Once you are sure that you have applied the adhesive evenly everywhere, you should pull the thin fabric in the form of a carpet onto the floor.

After applying the adhesive and carefully laying down a thin layer of fabric, you should open the carpet's drainage channels and roughly lay the turf on the floor.

You may need several people at this stage. We strongly discourage you from doing it alone, as this may prevent the carpet from fitting perfectly. Together with 2 or 3 people, you should carefully stretch the carpet by holding the edges of the artificial grass carpet. Thus, you will get a very smooth and taut floor.

If you are laying the artificial turf in a single strip, you have completed the application steps. However, if you are laying more than one strip, you should place the other strip right next to it, adjacent to it. There should be no gaps between the strips; they should be applied in a bottom-to-bottom manner without overlapping.

You can proceed to the edging process. In this step, artificial grass usually does not have a flat appearance as the edges are cut. You can finish this step with the help of scissors that cut well by paying attention to your hand. When you apply this step, you will have a very flat and perfect appearance.

Next, you should fix the carpets that you have laid side by side and adjacent to each other with an industrial adhesive. At this stage, ensuring that the strips do not overlap will give the carpet the most seamless and natural look.

Then you should wait for the adhesive to dry completely. Depending on the weather conditions, this process may take up to 2 days. Also, applying industrial paper tape to the joints of the strips where you apply the adhesive will make the adhesion stronger and longer lasting.
